Can members KEEP on topic when they are replying to a thread, please. Please use the search function or begin a new thread if you cannot find the right thread.
    Thanks.

Not much wrong with additional banter between participants in a discussion but recently a few threads have been needlessly diverted from the topic, by members with nothing relevant to add. It's not fair on those intent on getting an answer or indeed anyone interested in the discussion.

So, a reminder to all to please stay on topic.

A further reminder to members - if you've nothing useful to add to the actual topic in hand then don't bother posting.

And avoid the goading / condescension / puerile name-calling seen on a few threads of late. (There is a difference between that and direct challenging / genuine questioning / good-natured ribbing - all tolerated, within reason.)

New queries keep this place fresh and ticking over.
Don't like them, the person asking or their manner? Don't answer.

This forum has been commended by others for being a friendly WW2 obsessive place. So, please, let's keep it like that.
