    Grrrrr...I know I have some Ox Bucks/Glosters PoW photographs at Cassel somewhere on my PC but can I find them !

    German troops pass abandoned 140 Field Regiment RA vehicles and 25 Pounders in Cassel as they head to the summit where 145 Bde HQ was situated.

    Tanks are not my strong point but this looks like a French Renault R-35. This is one of the main roads that leads up the hill into Cassel

    I still haven't identified the exact location of these but believe the first one is where either 4 OBLI or 2 Glosters HQ's were situated

    POW's gathered together after Cassel was captured - Not confirmed but the Padre may well be Reverend R D F Wild MC. He was 145 Infantry Brigades Padre. I have a personal account by him of the battle that I will post later.

    I checked the files today and sadly Stanley doesn't appear to have completed a POW Q.
