REME: Order of Battle: CMF, October 1944

    I found this in the DME diary for allied forces CMF (WO 170 / 19). I think it will be of interest (hopefully) as not only does it give an idea as to how many REME units were in actual operation but it also places some of these units on the Italian mainland and identifies their district. It also gives info on Sicily and north Africa.

    It should be useful for reference anyway.
