Have there been any memoirs written by veterans who served in the Royal Ulster Rifles during WW II? Can someone give me a list of books written about the Royal Ulster Rifles? Thank you.

Is there anything specific you wish to know? I've been doing a lot of research on the RUR and LIR.

You can find a copy of 2RURs official history during WW2 at 2nd Battalion Royal Ulster Rifles in WW2 which also includes a number of photos and personal accounts from a range of sources.

If anyone comes across any further photos/personal accounts/war diaries please let me know and I'll add to the site.

I had lunch with the Colonel from the Ulster Rifles on the 60th anniversary of D day The Colonel and myself did a bit live, from the deserted village of Tyneham for the BBC. So they took us out to lunch at the New Inn Church Knowle
