    Not sure whether this was ever answered but the Seargants left SL 3 mid June 1943, whilst the Great escape was in March 1944.

    What have you found out about Percival George?

    Thanks for the info about Ronnie. I haven't found out much more about Percival apart from family hearsay. Do you have any more information on him?

    rmh - I've just found this post - only one year old ...! Would be happy to let you have Ron's poem from my Dad's log book, but don't want to post publicly. Any suggestions on how to do it for your eyes only?

    Is it possible to give the full names (instead of the initials) of
    Sergeant Observer R.P.L. Mogg and Sergeant W.J. Lambert, who together published
    the book "for this alone?"
