Hi! http://www.tisnov.cz/ttv/mpg/050505-jaro_1945-ruda_armada_v_boji_o_brno.wmv I think this Czech documental movie can be interesting for you, it contains many scenes of artillery, mortar fire, tanks and many else...
Just watching it now, cheers Alex. Totally brilliant film, thanks. Lend-lease equipment abound, including Bren carrier at 19min 36 sec, also White scout car, GMC trucks & Jeep[?]. Is the chap getting shot at 11min 24sec look genuine? The surrendering German at 19 mins looks like he's laughing. I had a chum who lived near Brno. He remembers the other time the Soviets came to Czechoslovakia in 1968. Not happy memories. He later went on to be an officer in Czech artillery. Last I heard was a few years ago when he blew most of his hand off at a Battle of Austerlitz re-enactment.

Is the chap getting shot at 11min 24sec look genuine? I can't be sure without knowing the story of this film... The surrendering German at 19 mins looks like he's laughing. Not sure, as the fragment is too short I had a chum who lived near Brno. He remembers the other time the Soviets came to Czechoslovakia in 1968. Not happy memories. He later went on to be an officer in Czech artillery. Last I heard was a few years ago when he blew most of his hand off at a Battle of Austerlitz re-enactment. Unfortunately 1968 was a dark story... Not going to start parallel discussion about it...
