Unknown artist in POW camp

The artist with the initials JSL was in OFLAG Vb Biberach.
officer or Private, I just do not know.

Hi, I've got a book 'Underground to Posen' by a chap who escaped from there. I'll have a leaf through and see if there's any mention of somebody with those initials. Bit of a long shot but you never know!

this book is from Michael Duncan and I read it, no mention of of this chap.

 

No worries then Pal! 'Caught' by Dorrien Belson is also mentioned on Wikipedia, but I've not got a copy so can't check that one.

 

On the other hand, four eyes see more than two. So, if you do find the artist, please get back to me. Or indeed find similar pics in another book.
Except for the 4 successful escapees, all other POWs were moved to Warburg in October 41. Maybe the artist continued his work there.
