    Hello to you all.

As I research the Royal Canadian Dragoons in April 1945 I was wondering what kind of vehicles RCD HQ was driving.

I know the Squadrons had Staghound, Dingo, Halfracks and Jeeps. But was there truck or so?
And are there any photo's of.
    Thank you for an answer.

    Greetz,
    Noppie.

    Hi Noppie,

Attached some pages on the TO&E of the Armored Car Regiment, from "XII Manitoba Dragoons: a Tribute 1885 - 1991", by Bruce Tascona. It also dwells on the tactical employment of the Armoured Car Troop and the Armoured Car Regt.

    Hope this is of help.

Searching the online picture gallery of the Netherlands and I found this one.
Date April 15 1945, liberation of the city of Leeuwarden. 194245.jpg
On the right a truck with 44 on the front.
    Can anyone identify the truck?

    Greetz,
    Noppie.
