Is there another book or is this the same as History of the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders 7th Battalion 1939-45 by Capt Ian Cameron.

I'm just worried I'll end up buying a book that starts after the France and Flanders campaign.

I think they are the same book. The description of the ABE-listed one with the 1939-1945 title says it covers 1942-45.

As for the 6th, one description mentions 'Africa, the Middle East, and Italy' but not France. However, another one states: 'Although this history is mainly concerned with the years 1939-1945, just tribute is paid to the founders of the Battalion - the Volunteers of the Napoleonic Wars - and to those who established the high traditions of the Battalion in the South African Campaign and World War I' - so you'd think there'd some mention of the BEF in the middle. It might be worth doing some more digging (this is not a delaying tactic while I buy them ;)).

I have the 6th Battalion history by William Pratt Paul. It covers France 1940.
