    He is recruiting for the Auxiliary Military Pioneer Corps in May 1940.

    I love the last line, "Some are Moulder than others". :).

    Interesting that the white feather approach is still strongly in evidence. How many were shamed into joining up.

    Recruiting Sergeant is the name of a pub in the village I was raised in.

    Aye, recruiting Sergeants have used some devious ploys to gain recruits haven't they?

    I suppose if you didn't really want to join up, and you saw that sign, I think it'd definately make you think about it. Good psychology.
