That is looking very good indeed.

Ok, final suggestion. A low level (say 0.1 or 0.2 intensity), none shadowing omni light with a slight blue tint and put it under the ocean and behind and to the right of the lead C47 to mimic a slight reflected under light from the sea. Doing that is a lot cheeper in render time than setting off a radiosity render!

Aaaaaand if you want to be really really picky ;) the light on the left of the aircraft should have a slight steel blue tint to it as well. I forget the exact colour temparetures but basically where the sun is, is always warmer than where the sun isnt, if that makes sense. This is an overcast day so there is no need to put a slight yellow tint in the key light, but the shadow light might look better a bit "cooler"... (it might not though, just suggesting a general rule of thumb!) This is your project, you do what feels right and ignore any of my comments if you dont agree with them!

p.s. love the white room with the piano on your website

Wow. When I was a kid I'd spend hours putting together plastic model kits (getting glue all over everything in the process!!)

I wish I had spent my time doing this type of modelling instead!

Bingo! There's a new business idea. Prepackaged SOFTWARE model kits. Drag and drop to assemble, painting....
