What do you want / did you get for Christmas?

Like Steve, nowt WW2 for me, but two new books, both look like fun, unlike that bloke’s job!

 

Now, I do like the look of that. My brother kindly gave me some money for Chrimbo, as I can never make up my mind what I want, so I think I’m going to treat myself to this. Cheers for the tip.

I’d also like to find a book written by a waist gunner - those guys were amazing.

 

Not for Christmas, but for my birthday today, so almost Christmas - Mrs Wobbler gave me these two books. Without my knowing, she’d researched grandad’s outfit and discovered Gun Buster and found these. I already have Return via Dunkirk, Sue doesn’t know that bless her, but I didn’t have Grand Barrage.

Absolutely delighted, really happy and very impressed at her detective work and thoughtfulness. She’s also going to have grandad’s medals framed for me as another prezzie. What a gal!

I didn't get either, darn it. But I did get a DVD set of Dr. Who, all the Pertwee years and most of Tom Baker. Including Leela. Rowwr, rowwr.

 

Nothing war related this year but plenty of Grinch stuff don't know what my family are implying
